Justin Shingles Limited specialises in providing valuation and negotiation services for leaseholders of residential property in Central London. Based in Knightsbridge, much of our work is for leaseholders on the nearby Cadogan, Grosvenor and Wellcome Trust Estates. Of course, leaseholders on smaller neighbouring estates, and those with other landlords, receive the same dedicated service.

When I set up Justin Shingles Limited as an independent leasehold reform valuer in June 2000, I had already learned a lot about property in Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Chelsea, and particularly about the market for leasehold tenure and the law involved.

My 20 years' prior experience of buying and selling houses and flats in the area included the seven years following enactment of the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993. I specialised in leasehold extensions and freehold acquisitions, cutting my teeth on what became some of the most important landmark cases under the Act.

As an independent valuer I can dedicate my time to providing a full, dependable personal service for leaseholders who want to secure their investment in their home through freehold enfranchisement or lease extension. So far, I have acted for around 760 leaseholders, saving them on average over 25 per cent on their landlord’s initial offer.
