A reflection on 2022

2022 was a year of delays to not only get claims started, but once ‘on the road’ tactics employed by the other side to drag out the process as long as possible.

This though was of no ultimate issue to my clients as the delays if anything assisted their position especially on those waiting for the relevant notice to be served the leases are all over 100 years against a weakening market.

As to the tactic employed by one landlord, on which I reported on in last month’s blog, my client ended up exactly where expected with a 45% discount on the quoting premium.
